  1. About PediDose 2.0-

  3. I wrote PediDose as a response to a JCAH site survey where 
  4. the reviewer asked our Emergency Department to have available 
  5. some means for rapidly ascertaining doses of commonly used 
  6. pediatric drugs, especially antibiotics. Things just grew from there.  
  7. It's designed to be most useful to the practicing Emergency Physician, 
  8. but may be somewhat helpful in other primary care settings.

  10. My thanks to the American Heart Association and the American Academy 
  11. of Pediatrics for their help in educating us all and for some more direct 
  12. inspiration during the creation of this program.

  14. I personally ask nothing for the use of this program except that you notify 
  15. me of bugs or obvious areas for improvement;  if you do use it frequently, 
  16. please make the donation requested to the AHA.  Please do not distribute 
  17. modified copies of the stack, though you are free to pass it along unmod-
  18. ified.

  20. I would consider this a beta release until I get more feedback regarding
  21. the quality of my work.  As usual with these things, the information 
  22. provided by the program is only a recommendation; you are responsible
  23. for determining all therapy delivered to any patient.
